Here is a beautiful scandinavian modern desk in rosewood model A10 designed by Goran Strand and manufactured by Lelångs Möbelfabrik in Sweden in the 1960's.
This exquisite piece, recently imported from Europe to California before its refinishing, features a vibrant wood grain, a large boomerang shaped desk top with a sculpted edge lip, a bank of 3 dove tail built drawers within sculpted recessed pulls and lacquered fronts reminiscent of Finn Juhl's color palette. The desk sports as well a drop down door revealing a cubby with a shelf, a display-storage area and four tapered legs in solid rosewood.
